Position Title: Postdoctoral Associate - Viticulture
Position Description: The Institute for Continental Climate Viticulture and Enology (ICCVE) at the University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for a postdoctoral associate to assist with viticulture research projects, supervised by Enology faculty, and collaborating with other members of the ICCVE team to advance and promote program efforts. Specific duties will include: conducting viticulture experiments on canopy and crop load management of Norton grapevines, vineyard mechanization, and scion rootstock interactions; prepare reports proposals, manuscripts, and other written documents as required; provide assistance with workshops, conferences, field days, and short courses as required.
Qualifications: Earned PhD degree in viticulture, horticulture, or related fields is required. Laboratory experience and prior extension work experience with grape and wine industry preferred.
