The major focuses on blending viticulture, enology, and the business aspects of the wine industry in a degree program aimed at producing graduates ready to step into careers in California’s multi-million dollar wine industry. The enology lecturer position will reside in the Food Science and Nutrition Department, which has 12 full-time faculty, numerous part-time faculty, support staff, and approximately 580 majors. The area’s diverse climate is suitable for both warm and cool climate growing and fermentation conditions.
