Research Associate: We are seeking a qualified associate to operate and promote the university wine lab services and to help develop the expansion of lab, education, research, and diagnostic services in the Midwest wine region. This position will conduct chemical analysis of organic compounds, (grape and wine constituents), develop analysis methodology, extract and prepare wine and other samples, perform and design chemical trials, consult on research projects, prepare solutions, compile, record and statistically analyze data.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Organic/Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or related field and at least one year of related experience. Experience must include chemical analysis of organic compounds utilizing HP-LC, GC/MS, Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography techniques.
