The successful outcome for the 63rd National Conference at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront attested to the Pacific Northwest as an ideal setting.

Our generous wine donors provided over 500 conference attendees with opportunity to enjoy wine. Our partnership with the Oregon Wine Board (OWB) and the Oregon Wine Research Institute (OWRI) greatly enhanced opportunity to showcase the Oregon wine industry. We were also indebted to our dedicated sponsors who provided significant support of our technical program.

We especially commend the students selected as recipients of the ASEV Best Student Presentation Awards and ASEV scholarships with commitment to them as an investment in our industry’s future.

We laud the many volunteers who contributed to this national event as a research presenter, invited speaker, conference attendee and/or sponsor. Convening as one wine and grape community to exchange technical information in an open forum on a national level is paramount in determining our future.
