The Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all
functions and phases of vinegar production. This is an excellent
opportunity for someone with a passion in operations and wine
making. This individual will have the chance to learn the
business and gain hands on experience on the production
floor.
Responsibilities:
•Assists in maintaining complete and thorough records of lab
analysis for each product
•Assists in maintaining record and history of each batch/lot
•Assists in the development of primary and secondary fermentation
of all products
•Under supervision of Master Vinegar Maker oversees all phases of
vinegar production
•Maintains all vinegar plant equipment and premises in clean,
working order
•Provides support in ensuring that plant and procedures meet all
federal, state and local regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
•Experience in vinegar, beer, wine, or yeast fermentation is
preferred.
•Training in laboratory work and analysis as it pertains to
vinegar or wine production
•Experience with modern vinegar making processes and equipment is
desirable
•Training in sensory analysis of wines and vinegar
•Good written and oral English communication skills.
•Must be literate in various basic office programs such as Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
•Must be a strong team player.
