ASEV Extension Distinction Award

The ASEV Extension Distinction Award recognizes a current extension professional based on his or her outstanding contribution of:

1. information in enology or viticulture through his or her extension program
2. the translation of novel research findings into commercially applicable tools for enologists or viticulturists

Best Paper Awards

Each year, the ASEV Best Paper Awards Committee completes an evaluation of all research papers published in the American Journal of Enology and Viticulture for the prior year. The committee selects one paper in the field of enology and one in the field of viticulture that is deemed outstanding in its content and a substantial contribution to the field.

Best Student Presentation Awards

Selected students are recognized with these awards each year based on the content and quality of their oral or poster presentations at the Society’s Annual Meeting/National Conference in June. We are indebted to our sponsors who have provided generous and consistent support over these years.

Merit Award

The purpose of the ASEV Merit Award is to recognize outstanding individual achievement in the field of enology or viticulture. The area of achievement or excellence shall be in the field of education, technology, research, management, public relations or any discipline directly or indirectly related to enology or viticulture.
