with particular recognition of Art’s long time service as Editor
of the American Journal of Enology and Viticulture (AJEV). He was
also instrumental in organizing many annual meetings.

Nitrogen’s nutritional implications are recognized as essential
components for making fine wines. Twenty-four years after its
first symposium on this topic, ASEV will use the 66th National
Conference to re-address this relevant, complex topic. A
distinguished group of international wine and grape scientists,
winegrowers and winemakers will discuss the practical aspects of
nitrogen in grapes and wine. They will provide an interactive
hands-on overview of nitrogen’s implications from the vineyards
to wine making.
