DAVIS, Calif., July 27, 2020…The American Society for Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) selected 50 scholarship recipients to receive $107,500 in financial support in their pursuit of scientific research and advancement in enology or viticulture.
SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 14, 2020… Due to concerns about COVID-19, organizers of the 2021 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium announced the event will be presented online as a virtual conference on January 26-28, 2021. In addition, the Unified will host a virtual trade show throughout the three days, with an additional half day on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 8 to 11 a.m. The Unified was scheduled to occur on January 12 – 14, 2021 at the Cal Expo grounds.
DAVIS, Calif., March 25, 2020…The Joint 71st ASEV National Conference and 45th ASEV Eastern Section Annual Meeting set to take place on June 15-18, 2020, in Portland, Oregon, has been canceled. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance for large events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ASEV Board made this difficult decision to prioritize members’ and attendees’ safety and well-being.
